Curve Balls of Life
When bad things happen to good people some wonder, “Is there a God?” Even more so when dreadful things happen to supposedly righteous people, CHRISTIANS. At times like that they truly wonder and ask with skepticism, “Is there really a God?” When tragedies such as 9/11, mass shootings of children, condominium unit collapse, and a world-wide coronavirus pandemic occur, that’s the time it is most critical to recognize the whole counsel of God’s word:
“For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.” – Matthew 5:45b (NLT)
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 (NLT)
