A Test of Faith

Walk by faith and not by sight,
Don’t be persuaded by your plight,
It may look dead and without hope,
But look to God to help you cope,

He’ll bring you through if you continue to stand,
Don’t let go of God’s unchanging hand,
He’ll give you peace to weather the storm,
But you must be serious and not lukewarm,

Don’t look to the left or to the right,
You can’t be distracted and win this fight,
A little faith is all that’s required,
To achieve the goal that is desired,

Take the limits off and believe that you can,
Stop focusing on the problem and the circumstance,
True faith will believe before the manifestation,
Don’t doubt, waiver, or yield to temptation,

Build your faith on solid ground,
The Word of God that’s proven sound,
Then step out into the unknown,
Trust in God you won’t be alone,

God is asking, is there any faith in the land?
Will anyone rise up and take my hand?  ©

“And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV).
