In The Fullness Of Time
God will always give what He has promised. “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” Galatians 4:4-5
I love you my child
But you must wait
In the fullness of time
I’ll make you great,
Mature in my Word
Read and meditate
Examine your heart
Then I’ll make you great,
Disappointed and dejected
I leave for the day
Trying to figure out
How to get my way,
What can I do
Is my inquire
To satisfy my feelings
Is my only desire,
There must be something
God wants me to do
But that which it is
I don’t have a clue,
I must do something
Other than wait
Life is passing by
And it’s getting late,
I return on tomorrow
And God says no
It’s still not time
So you must go,
Don’t be discouraged
I know what’s best
Have patience my child
And take a rest,
Rest from you work
And rest from your worry
Learn to wait
And not be in a hurry,
Be anxious for nothing
And learn to be content
I told you to wait
And that’s what I meant,
Disappointed again
And filled with sorrow
Doesn’t God know
I don’t have many tomorrows,
I want it now
And don’t want to wait
Give it to me Lord
And don’t hesitate,
I know what I can do
I can pray and fast
And that will move
God’s hand at last,
I’ll also serve
And give to the poor
Surely that will suffice
And God will open the door,
So I went and did
All that I had planned
And returned to God
To seek His hand,
Only to find
That there was nothing there
How can that be
I asked in despair,
He looked upon me
And had little to say
I love you my child
Just OBEY,
From the very beginning
I told you my will
I told you to wait
And just be still,
In the fullness of time
In that very hour
You’ll have what you want
And witness my power,
I’ll remove all obstacles
And make the path straight
The vision shall speak
It shall create,
I’ll tear down the walls
And slay the giants
But until then
Stop being defiant,
I need you to OBEY
And to recognize
That partial obedience
Is still compromise,
I am Sovereign
And do as I please
I bring presidents and kings
Down to their knees,
I am the Creator
Of heaven and earth
And I am He
That gave you birth,
I AM that I AM
And you must understand
That I hold your life
In the palms of my hand,
I know the plans
I have for you
But there is still
One thing you must do,
Give up your will
And be conformed
Let Christ come in
And be transformed,
Do that which is good
And pleasing in my sight
And I will gladly give you
Your heart’s delight,
OBEY my command
Be patience and wait
And in the fullness of time
You shall be great.
