The Racial Divide is Put Aside

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26-28 NIV).

When we truly come to the place of worshiping God in Spirit and truth, no longer will conduct like this be acceptable, nor will it even be imagined.

Robbed of our heritage and kept as his slave,

Forced to work his land from cradle to grave,

The white grew wealthier at the black man’s expense,

While the black grew sullen and almost lost his sense,

Beaten and tortured because of our black skin,

Hunted and killed for a trophy case win.
