NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!
After yet another unjust verdict, the people screamed “NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!” I wondered what was their expectation, what were they thinking? It has been said that insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting a different result. Well, I am declaring it is insanity for a people to expect JUSTICE from an unjust system; the entire world system is broken because it is built upon broken humanity. “The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil” – Genesis 6:5 (NLT). “For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness” – Mark 7:21-22 (NLT).
The thoughts of man are evil, even the converted still wrestle and struggle with doing the right thing. Since the wicked heart of men unjustly condemned and crucified Christ Jesus, then what is Stephen, Paul, Breonna Taylor, George Perry Floyd, Manuel “Mannie” Elijah Ellis, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Emmett Till and so many others known and unknown.
So do not put your hope in the hands of men, even redeemed men because it will not be fulfilled, and if by rare chance justice does make an appearance it will only be sprinkles at best. Therefore, I plead with you to renounce the pseudo system of justice in America and embrace the one who is Justice & Peace to come, the Savior & Lord, Jesus Christ.
