FRIENDS?
The axiom “show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future” has caught another victim. I’m sure you can fill a name in the blank ________ to make my statement true. Yes, instead of becoming victors in life, some have become victims. Too many promising lives and careers are uprooted before they have time to blossom due to wrong decisions, and unfortunately many of those wrong decisions are influenced by those we call friends. Proverbs 13:20 reads: “walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble” – (NLT). So, think long and hard about your relationships and associations so you don’t become another sad statistic, and find yourself and others wondering “what if.”
