True Treasure
Sometimes we do not know what treasure we have, and in not knowing we neglect it, abuse it, take it for granted and let it slip away. Whether it is a marital relationship, friendship, career, or time itself, our ignorance in not recognizing the preciousness in these matters can prove to be extremely costly. Yet there is something even more precious, of critical importance. We must awaken to the true treasure, JESUS CHRIST!
JESUS CHRIST is the True Treasure! Through HIM we receive the greatest gift one could ever receive, FORGIVENESS. JESUS died on the cross for you and me to be forgiven of our sin, and thereby have a relationship with the Holy Eternal God of all the universe.
Do not be deceived, everyone has sinned in thought or direct deed, and do not forget the good deeds that you withheld because you did not think they deserved anything nice. So today, be intentional and decide to receive the True Treasure, Jesus Christ. In doing so, receive that which most of us withheld a time or two, forgiveness. He’s already paid the price for you; you simply need to collect the treasure that is awaiting you in Him. Don’t delay, say yes to Him today, and begin to live life on purpose!
